One Mississippi: A Novel

One Mississippi - Mark Childress One Mississippi was pretty good. Stephen King promised it was “the funniest book” he’d read in 10 years. I didn’t find it as funny as Land of 100 Wonders - which made me laugh out loud, but what can you expect from Stephen King - Master of Creepiness? It involves, several explosions, Sonny and Cher, Prom Night, southern Baptists, a weird Uncle, and lots of 70’s references to music. That said, only one or two things struck me as funny.
